As the weather heats up, we’re seeing more Davis homes selling. There are currently 68 properties in escrow per the latest attached “sales report” march-cma-report.pdf. Within the month of March, 37 homes sold and those homes sold for an average of $252.76 per square foot. That’s 2.1% higher than last month and 3.7% lower than last March (2011).
If you look at the current pending sales… I haven’t done the math to combine the two categories (“Pending” and “pending bring backup”) and haven’t determined which of the properties currently pending sale will be closing this month, but I would estimate that April’s closed escrows will show an average price per square foot within $2.50 of March’s figure (less than 1% difference).
